Regional NRM Groups and Government - 17 march 2005 In Queensland, NRM bodies have made great progress in developing regional plans and are commencing or preparing for implementation. Successful implementation of NRM plans will need to meet the complex and potentially conflicting needs of stakeholders. EIANZ-SEQ is held a full day forum to explore the range of issues and challenges likely to be encountered during implementation and seek insights into how these might be managed and resolved, to the benefit of all stakeholders. In many ways, the NRM groups and their stakeholders can be seen as pieces of a jigsaw that need to be fitted together to achieve the big picture of successful natural resource management.
