Venue:             The Pavilion Function and Conference Centre,
                        1 Bogan Street, Breakfast Creek

  EIANZ – SEQ Division

EIANZ brought together leading Queensland research facilities, government agencies and service providers to guide the professional development of practitioners.  Griffith University’s Climate Change Adaptation program, the EPA’s Office of Climate Change and leaders in the field of carbon mitigation and climate change joined forces with EIANZ to bring you the Climate Change Boot Camp.

The Boot Camp had a practical “skills based” focus to empower environmental practitioners, to respond to current and future impacts of climate change within their business or profession.

The Boot Camp aimed to:

  1. Heighten awareness of key principles, new knowledge, tools and case studies related to addressing climate change
  2. Identify any gaps that may exist in the tools and resources required to support practitioners in responding to climate change impacts and follow up on these matters with institutional providers.
